In terms of revenue, the market was valued at USD 3.5 billion in 2011 and is expected to reach USD 5.9 billion by 2018, growing at a CAGR of 9.1% from 2012 to 2018.
The growing demand of meat, especially in developing countries is expected to drive the market for lysine in the near future.
